Design & Functionality

The flow switch operates using a variable area flow measurement principle. Fluid enters the device from the bottom and moves upward through a guide tube with variable sections. As the flow increases, a magnetic shutter moves along the guide tube, indicating the flow level on the external graduated scale.

The magnetic field generated by the internal magnet activates the electrical contact when the flow reaches the configured switching threshold. This allows the system to send remote alarm signals or trigger automated safety actions in process control panels.

The device includes a movable cursor with magnetic contacts, enabling operators to adjust the alarm threshold easily without complex recalibration.
