Design & Functionality

The level switch incorporates a specialized sensing structure consisting of a main probe, guard section, insulation layer, and grounding electrode. Radio frequency signals are applied to the sensing probe to monitor admittance changes when materials reach the detection point.

The guard section isolates the sensing probe from unwanted interference caused by product buildup. This design ensures the system measures only the true admittance change between the probe and tank wall. As a result, the device maintains measurement accuracy while eliminating false switching caused by coating or sticky materials.
