Design & Functionality

The SCX level switch operates using a vibrating tuning fork probe driven by piezoelectric crystals. The fork vibrates at a specific frequency when it is not in contact with the process material. When the material reaches the probe, the vibration is dampened, and the sensor electronics detect the frequency change. The device then sends a switching signal to indicate material presence.

Once the material level drops and the fork is free again, the vibration returns to its original frequency and the output switches back. This simple yet effective mechanism ensures highly reliable level detection without complex calibration or maintenance requirements.
