Design & Functionality

The paddle flow switch works by utilizing the force generated by liquid flow inside a pipe. When fluid begins moving through the pipeline, the paddle inside the switch shifts upward due to the pressure of the flowing liquid. This motion compresses an internal spring mechanism and moves a magnetic element toward a reed switch.

When the paddle reaches a certain angle, the magnetic field activates the reed switch, sending a signal that confirms liquid flow within the system. If flow stops or drops below the detection level, the paddle returns to its default position, causing the switch to reset and indicate a no-flow condition.
